This is my first flamepack, but I'm pretty sure it won't be my last. I hope someone will find it useful.
The zip file contains the flamepack, the jpg shown above and a text file with info about the plug-ins needed.
Here is the text of that file.
Plug-ins needed: curl3D (built-in) two-face ([link]) ngon (in ApoShack Plug-In pack) bubblewraps (bubble_wrap_S7) (in ApoShack Plug-In pack) escher (in ApoShack Plug-In pack) rectangles (built-in) waves2 (in ApoShack Plug-In pack) square (in ApoShack Plug-In pack)
Most can be found in the ApoShack Massive Plug-In Pack: [link]
These flames are meant to be used as a learning tool and to be tweaked. If you post an image made with any of the parameters in this flamepack, it must be changed into a new image by manipulating transform(s) and not just by changing the gradient. If you do post an image based on any of these flames, I would appreciate it if you would include a link to this flamepack in your image description.
All the flames were done using Apophysis 7X v15 and postwork done in PhotoPlus.

now these look very interesting, esp for someone like me who's just beginning to learn about flames and parameters and what they're used for. if i had this knowledge back when i found out about Apophysis......:
I am glad you finally found flamepacks, Dwayne. I find they are quite useful when learning about Apo and certain styles. They give you a great starting place for tweaking, so they are educational and fun all at the same time!
exactly. i'm learning slowly but surely how some calculations and positioning of the triangles make some profound changes. i completely forgot about fiddling with the triangles like i did when i 1st worked on Apophysis.
You're more than welcome! I hope you find this pack entertaining and educational! Please post links to anything you might do using this. I love seeing what others do with my Apo params.
Thank you very much! I hope you find this flamepack useful! If you need any help or have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I know how lost I felt when I first started doing Apo, so I don't mind helping out at all!
Peggi... I'm so proud of you I'm just bursting... you have so much skill and I hope you enjoy passing it on, because all your art is inspirational... imagine all the new fractalists who will be brought to life with one of your tutes.... you are awesome!!!
Awww, that's such a sweet thing to say, Janet! I really appreciate those very kind words and I do enjoy passing on what I can to other fractalists, old hat and noobies alike. If someone derives some knowledge or pleasure from my meager resources, then I'm a very happy camper. If it wasn't for the help I received from fractal artists and the wonderful resources that are on dA when I first started out, I would still be making swirly, wispy, nondescript Apos. I would like to think my work will inspire new people to give fractals a try. I thank you very much for giving me a real boost today, my friend!
