Here is another version of the fractal Bird of Paradise using the the espiral spherical variations. Another tweak of the 58 Flames to Play With flamepack by *MothersHeart. Here's the first one I posted with params:
Update 02-12-13 I finally found which flamepack the original params came from. The very first one is named "0001". When I tweak someone's params I always save the flame with the original name of flame and the author as part of the name of the flame with my initials and a number. The original name of this flame is "PW Tweak 6 grad edit 5 blck good MothersHeart 0001", so I knew whose params they were and the name of the original flame, but I didn't know which flamepack it came from. She has several flamepacks available for download. So, I downloaded just about all of them and opened them and looked for one named "001". I found it in the above named flamepack. Click on the thumb to go to the flamepack for download.

Aw, thank you so much, Joe, for that wonderful comment! What a lovely thing to say! I'm so delighted you enjoyed it. Color is my thing and it's always nice when others like it, too!
Rather than just sending you a handful of nice adjectives, I love when a piece of art work DOES something to me. Then, I can share with the artist the effect of her or his work had on me! So, in a sense, this is an effort to extend the appreciation for the generosity of your sharing, by showing how your live affects others!!!! So, again, Thank you for everything! Smiles from the heart to you Peggi, Joe
A big smile right back at ya, Joe! You are so welcome!! I'm so thrilled that my art DID something to you! I agree, art should grab at you visually, mentally and/or emotionally.
Again with really really fantastic colouring! The flow is also so exceptional, I dont work with them, but Im amazed at how you got a fractal to do this! I also thought of the bird as the image caught my eye and did a double take on the title
Thank you very much! I am very fond of colors, as you can obviously tell. But, I was thinking more of an image of a bird of paradise flower than an actual bird. Like this: [link]
But, I've had other people tell me it reminds them of a bird. That's one of the things that is so cool about fractals: different people can see different things in them. So, the interpretation is really up to the viewer and there is no right or wrong.
Ahh yes, I see where the sharp angles are more fitting to the flower there. Its a shame to fall victim of not knowing about that lovely flower there, however I also agree with fractals being so open to interpretation. One of the things Ive always enjoyed about looking at them. While Ive not made them, I can safely say Ive spent more time looking at them here on dA than any other specific form of media.
Why haven't you tried them? The software is free and you don't really need to know math and there are a lot of tutorials and other resources for most of the programs. If you'd like to learn more about them, let me know and I can send you some links.
Ya know, the main reason is time. Ill admit my time management skills arent always the greatest, but over the years that is just something which Ive never made the time for. Cant say I wont in the future, but until then I will remain an admirer Thanks for the offer, and I will keep that in mind! Learning something new is always on my to do list!
Is like a spiritual shower with color!!!!
WOW!!!
So, again, Thank you for everything!
Smiles from the heart to you Peggi,
Joe
