I have done another collage, only this time it's definitely a mixed media bag. This is an image I did based on the lovely poem by
Night sky is from a gradient [link] by ~onthinair Glitter curtain is a brush: [link] (This lady has some great brushes, check out her website site) Gate is a PS brush: [link] by ~angela3d Pool from [link] by ~fote-stock Elf boy is an image of a doll from the web: [link] Goblin is from [link] by ~ranmor The following all came from Fairy by the pool: [link] Flying and Kneeling Fairies: [link] Unicorn: [link] The moon is from a photograph I took around my house a year or two ago. Thank you, Mark! I'm so happy you like it. Do you think it's too busy?
-- Wolfepaw =Apophysis =Fractal-Resources =Fractal-Faces If you Oh, Roz, I'm so glad you like it. When I get going on these, it's hard to know when to stop. I just uploaded an update. I thought the right side of the image looked a little empty compared to the left, so I added another fairy for the heck of it. I hope this isn't too busy.
Yes, I started putting this together about 8:00pm my time. I finished at around 3:30am my time. It took me awhile to find the stock pictures. I could have gone on, but I figured if I put any more into it, it would just get lost. I appreciate the feedback, Roz. Thank you so much! -- Wolfepaw =Apophysis =Fractal-Resources =Fractal-Faces If you And a big kiss to you for that, my friend! Thank you for those nice words.

Once again, this lovely and bewitching image shows a dedication to the time it takes to create it. To me that is a real commitment to your art.
I have a thing about faeries, and unicorns as well. Butterflies too, so immediately this caught my eye!
I love the little girl and her placement. It looks like she has wondered through gates of gold, into an enchanted garden in the faery realm.
All the flames in this are absolutely amazing! I don't know how you manage to balance all these elements, but you do it superbly, in my opinion.
All these different colors make this such stunning eye candy. I could look at it for a long time. It makes me smile when I look at it.
One of my shortcomings in art of this type is not knowing how to convey a sense of depth by adjusting the size of the elements in the foreground of an image, and making those in the back smaller to view. The gates provide a great sense of depth, but I wonder if the little girl needs to be a little larger. I don't honestly know. It just seems it would give a greater sense of depth in relation to the other '
The one thing I think I would remove, or perhaps place a little less of, and spread a bit farther apart is the curtain of jewels, (not sure what to call them), but for me personally, that was the first thing that my eyes were attracted to, rather than the scene, initially.
All in all Peggi, I think this is a sweet and beguiling piece of art. It would be perfect in a little girl's bedroom, and it could also be a wonderful illustration in a fantasy story about a little girl in the faery kingdom and her adventures there.
